PDS Registration

The Professional Development System is being offered to members of the following institutions: SEE, EI, IGEM, RAES, IHT and IRSE. By registering below your details will be sent to these institutions who will contact you regarding access. A charge for use of this system may be applied in which case you will be contacted for payment prior to your user details going live.

The ETB is actively seeking feedback on this system in order to develop a post-pilot offering from June 2008. Therefore, if you are a member of another institution and would like to contribute to our development of this product please complete the fields below. This will provide you access to an ETB pilot system. Please note that your institution registration processes may differ from the processes used in this system. The ETB pilot system is being used solely for the purpose evaluation.

In compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998 I have read this declaration and agree and accept its content and intent.

All materials associated with my professional development including but not limited to plans, assessments, supporting documents, evidence of accomplishment that are held within my portfolio in the ETB Professional Development System can be accessed and used by all individuals authorized by my nominated Partner Institution, or where Other is selected the ETB, including but not limited to tutors, mentors, assessors, advisors and my employer for the sole purpose of guiding and assisting me to achieve my professional development goals including Initial Professional Development and Continuing Professional Development.

All data submitted or uploaded on to this system will be stored on a secure server in Canada managed by Skillsure. It is the responsibility of the individual to ensure that you do upload, post, e-mail, transmit or otherwise make available any content that you do not have a right to make available under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships (such as inside information, proprietary and confidential information learned or disclosed as part of employment relationships or under nondisclosure or confidential disclosure agreements. It is responsibility of the individual to ensure that you do not upload, post, e-mail, transmit or otherwise make available any information that you consider confidential in nature, which posting may cause you to lose your rights to the intellectual property associated with the information, or content that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary and lawful rights of any party, respecting the rights of others.

The ETB and Partner Institutions will be notified of your application to use this system. The ETB and Partner Institutions reserve the right to cancel your Account at any stage or reject your account Application. A usage fee may be charged by the ETB or Partner Institutions. This policy is determined the ETB and Partner Institutions and may vary. If a usage fee is applicable you will be contacted by the appropriate body to facilitate payment, the terms and conditions for agreeing to this usage fee will be detailed at this point. Agreeing to the Terms and Conditions detailed above do not constitute agreement accept any usage fee that may be applicable.
